Just received this email, I know many of you are already attending the men’s game at 3:00pm this day. The Mercury will play at 7:00pm.

This Wednesday, October 6th, the Suns and Mercury will be playing in an unprecedented double-header of basketball. The Suns have moved their pre-season game to a 3pm tip off so that the Mercury can play on their home court at the Footprint Center for a potential series-clinching game that would send the Mercury to the WNBA Finals.

Phoenix Mercury guard Skylar Diggins-Smith has purchased a block of tickets to the game and she would like them to go to girls basketball players specifically. To access the ticket offer, players/parents can click the link below that will take them to a Ticketmaster page. They will need to have a Ticketmaster account or create one for free. The link will automatically fill in the promo code and the user can go in and claim up to 4 seats to attend Wednesday’s game that starts at 7pm. (These tickets are only for the Mercury game and will not be valid for the Suns game)

Please send this out to all of the girls in your program as soon as possible. If you also have some female staff that would like to go to the game, that is fine too. The only rules/requirements for the tickets are:

The tickets cannot be resold in any way.
Must be claimed by female players playing in your program (or their parents) or female staff.
Only claim tickets if you plan on attending the game. There are a limited number of seats and claiming tickets and not going means that someone else doesn’t have to opportunity to attend the game.
